Job Description

Are you an accounting professional looking to build your career in property accounting within a respected, market‑leading organisation? We’re seeking a detail‑driven Assistant Property Accountant to support a diverse property portfolio within our Real Estate Management Services team. Working closely with Senior Property Accountants, Property Managers, and clients, you’ll help deliver accurate, timely financial outcomes while gaining hands‑on experience across reporting, budgeting, compliance, lease administration, and cashflow management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Property Accountants with day‑to‑day accounting for a portfolio of clients
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including operating expense wash‑ups
  • Maintain lease information and process tenant invoicing within the property accounting system
  • Manage monthly cashflow and complete cashbook reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets
  • Ensure financial compliance and internal controls are met in line with company policies
  • Prepare and file statutory returns as required
  • Support system enhancements, software implementations, and process improvements
  • Assist with client queries and attend client meetings when required

Qualifications
