As an Assistant Service Manager, you’ll work closely with the Service Manager to ensure our department runs efficiently, meets performance targets, and upholds the highest standards of customer satisfaction and brand values.
As an experienced Assistant Service Manager, you will:
- Assist the Service Manager in managing the Service Department to deliver quality, efficient, and customer-focused service.
- Support achievement of agreed targets, including profitability, customer satisfaction, staff performance, and growth objectives.
- Ensure the department consistently meets BMW and retail group standards.
- Monitor workshop efficiency, productivity, and safety while meeting Distributor CSI requirements.
- Assist with service campaigns and promotions in line with company requirements.
- Deputise for the Service Manager when required and help organise and direct departmental activities.
- Oversee ISO and QMS processes to meet or exceed BMW expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including Health & Safety and environmental protection measures.
- Participate in personal development opportunities, including manufacturer and in-house training.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have proven experience in a similar service leadership or supervisory role.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills.
- Be highly computer literate and confident with service systems and reporting tools.
- Possess excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting team development.
- Hold a clean, full driver’s licence.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time role, 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7:30am and 5:30pm. Continental Cars BMW is offering the right candidate a competitive salary, Company car plus monthly commission.
