To prove the must-have skills, share concrete examples of clear, confident communication with staff and customers, a measurable impact on goals or KPIs, and a track record of solving problems or making decisions that align with policy.

In interviews, be ready to talk through how you monitor KPIs and manage stock and safety on the floor, plus give a story about turning customer feedback into a positive change. Have a plan for how you would recruit, onboard, and retain new team members to maintain a strong store culture.
