Spencer Gifts Spirit Halloween in Kelowna is hiring a full-time Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering outstanding guest services and profitable store operation on site. You’ll lead staff, manage merchandising and inventory, control expenses and shrinkage, and ensure policies are followed, with a pay range of 19.85 to 20.10 per hour and a strong benefits package. Requirements include 18+, prior retail or management experience, and the ability to stand, walk, climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds for long shifts. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures. The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18. The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior retail and or management experience is required.
