Internship
On-site
London, ENG

Google is seeking the next wave of product marketers for its Associate Product Marketing Manager Intern program in London. This onsite internship is designed for students who are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and want hands-on experience shaping how Google’s products reach and resonate with users. The role sits at the intersection of product, marketing and analytics, with a pathway into Google’s APMM Program after the internship. It’s a chance to join a global marketing community and gain mentorship from leaders as you contribute to real business goals.

As an Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) Intern, you’ll be assigned a marketing project within a specific product area. Your daily work will flex with the project, but you’ll typically bring user insights into product development, help raise awareness of launches, and shape go-to-market plans that include social and digital campaigns. You’ll track how campaigns perform against defined KPIs and help build customer acquisition and engagement programs, including messaging, collateral and events. After the internship, there may be opportunities to continue in a full-time role within the APMM Program, supporting the same product area or region, backed by mentors and a structured development track.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • You're currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and still studying.
  • You’ve gained practical marketing or related experience through roles, internships, projects or coursework in areas such as marketing, brand management, strategy, a marketing agency, technology, or similar.

Bonus points that help you stand out

  • You show solid analytical abilities and can translate data into strategic direction.
  • You think globally and can cross boundaries between disciplines, industries, cultures and scenarios.
  • You have a genuine interest in marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, agencies, technology or related fields.
  • You’re available to complete a 13-week full-time internship in the UK, with a start window in May, June or July 2027.
  • You’re in your penultimate or final year of study.

A window into daily life at Google

The internship centers on a marketing project within a defined product area, with responsibilities that shift based on the project’s needs. Expect to work closely with product and marketing teammates to turn user insights into practical product decisions, contribute to product launch activities, and craft go-to-market approaches that span social and digital channels. You’ll measure how well campaigns meet their KPIs and help design programs that attract and engage customers through thoughtful messaging, collateral and events.

Google’s APMM Program is described as an early-career marketing track that supports interns with dedicated mentors, a community of peers and alumni, and milestones for learning and development. Successful APMMs participate in programming, contribute to the broader community and build a broad set of marketing skills that extend beyond a single product area or region.

What you’ll actually sign up for in terms of schedule and location

The role is onsite in London, and the program runs for 13 weeks on a full-time schedule. The internship is scheduled to begin in May, June or July 2027, with the exact start date aligning to business needs in the UK.

Tips to help you shine in this internship

Lead your resume with a project or role where you turned user insights into product or marketing decisions, and where you can show measurable impact.

When you describe your experience, include a concrete example that demonstrates your analytical skills and how you shaped a strategy or campaign. Quantify outcomes where you can, even if it’s a small-scale project.

Get ready to talk through a go-to-market plan you’ve worked on, including the channels you used, how you measured success, and what you’d adjust next time based on learnings from the data.

Ask a precise question about the program, like how mentorship is structured, what product areas the 2027 cohort will support, or how success is defined during the internship and in the transition to the APMM Program.
