Your role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Scientist 1 to join our Cell Biology Team in Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for the performance of routine and custom GMP studies and good housekeeping, equipment maintenance and stock control, to ensure the smooth running of the laboratories. The Cell Biology team performs a wide variety of assays to support development and testing processes within the pharmaceutical industry, making scientific observations and completing documentation to the required industry standards. Responsibilities also include working within the laboratory following Standard Operating Procedures and relevant compliance regulations, to ensure routine studies are completed on time and accurately recorded to meet appropriate scientific and GMP regulatory standards. Please note that this position is flexible and you may be required to train in other areas of the company and may be required to work from our Stirling site on occasion.
