Join Sotheby’s London as Associate Specialist, Wine, a hands-on role supporting the wine auction team from estimates to post-sale administration. You’ll inspect properties, catalogue wine in SAP and ADM, liaise with sellers and buyers, and help run pre-sale outreach and on-site events. The ideal candidate has a degree and at least two years in a related field with an auction background, solid knowledge of fine wines, WSET preferred, and French or another European language is a plus. You must be detail‑driven, highly organized, capable of multi-tasking under pressure, physically able to move wine cases, and willing to travel. THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Head of Wine Auction Sales, UK, the Associate Specialist will assist the Specialists with auction estimates, wine inspection, cataloguing, liaising with buyers and sellers and general administration on all levels, including data entry of wines into IT system.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Assist with property inspections at warehouses and on-site at clients’ premises in the UK and Continental Europe
