The Strategy Analyst provides analytical and research-based support to the Corporate Strategy team in driving strategic initiatives across the organization. The role involves interpreting internal and external data, performing industry benchmarking, preparing business models, and assisting in planning and execution of strategic projects. This position requires strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders. The Strategy Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that corporate decision-making is backed by structured analysis and robust business rationale.

The post holder will:

  • Conduct internal and external research to support strategic planning, including market trends, competitive landscape, and healthcare sector developments.

  • Analyze financial and operational data to evaluate business performance and identify growth opportunities or inefficiencies.

  • Develop business models, cost-benefit analyses, and scenario projections to support strategic recommendations.

  • Assist in creating strategic roadmaps, corporate presentations, and board materials aligned with organizational priorities.

  • Support strategy execution by tracking project KPIs, monitoring milestones, and preparing progress reports.

  • Collaborate with data analysts, business units, and functional leaders to gather input and validate analytical findings.

  • Prepare executive dashboards and visual reports using PowerPoint, Power BI, or similar tools for high-level decision-making.

  • Evaluate strategic initiatives and investment proposals using structured methodologies and evidence-based criteria.

  • Participate in workshops and stakeholder meetings to capture inputs and communicate strategic insights.

  • Maintain documentation of strategic plans, business assumptions, and project outcomes for audit and future reference.

  • Assist in M&A research, due diligence, and integration planning as part of corporate development activities.

  • Conduct SWOT, PESTEL, and gap analysis to assess current strategic positioning and recommend adjustments.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities from a strategic planning perspective.

  • Track performance against strategic objectives and propose course-correction measures when necessary.

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, market innovations, and global healthcare trends to inform strategic choices.

Education and Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree or professional certification in Strategy, Management Consulting, or Project Management (e.g., PMP, CMC) is an advantage.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to executive stakeholders.

  • Understanding of strategic frameworks and planning tools (e.g., SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, BCG Matrix).

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience with business case development and performance reporting.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines in a high-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry or large enterprise environments is desirable.
