Repco Mt Maunganui is seeking an Automotive Parts Interpreter to join GPC Asia Pacific, full time onsite, Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm. You’ll use automotive parts or mechanical knowledge to provide technical support to trade and retail customers, build relationships, and blend service with sales in a busy phone driven role while prioritising safety. The successful candidate will have hands on automotive experience, strong customer service with some sales, the ability to explain technical terms clearly, and a proactive problem solving mindset with solid computer skills. Flexible availability, a valid driver’s licence with manual preferred. • Provide technical support to our trade and retail customers through using their expert automotive parts/mechanical knowledge
• Build effective customer relationships
• Are superstar sellers and problem solvers, and use up-to-date product information and knowledge

• Enjoy working in a busy phone customer contact role
• Are safety aware and constantly strive to provide the safest work environment for themselves and their teammates

The successful applicant will:

• Demonstrate prior automotive parts or mechanical experience
• Be a passionate customer service expert with some sales experience
• Be comfortable sharing knowledge and have the ability to communicate in a technical and non-technical manner
• Be a natural problem solver who is solutions focussed with sound computer skills
• Be a proactive and driven team player, who can also work independently
• Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver’s licence (manual preferred).
