We are looking for Automotive Software Architects to drive forward the Automotive sector with Electrical and Embedded Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the projects that you work on whilst helping Expleo to grow the automotive sector within Electrical and Embedded Systems domain. Your task will be to support the development of an ADAS system which will see the vehicle progress to full autonomous driving, referred to as an L4+ autonomous driving system.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define, design and deliver embedded software architecture and software components for ADAS across a range of vehicles.
  • Collaborate with basic software and platform, functional safety, and system engineers to define and refine the software architecture.
  • Assist with software verification driven by customer, functional and FMEA requirements.
  • Provide technical support and assistance across the operational team on topics relating to the integration and harmonisation of multiple interconnected functions including issue resolution and objective data analysis.
  • Support development through V-model, milestones and development process.
  • Implementation of technology, design, demonstrators, models and validation strategies.
  • Engagement with key project stakeholders around the business to gather requirements, development and integration.

Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree in applicable discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronic Engineering.

Essential skills

  • 8-years of SW, especially embedded middleware design and development.
  • Experience with embedded system engineering.
  • Experience on complex automotive software projects based on Linux/QNX/Adaptive AUTOSAR.
  • Good understanding of AUTOSAR Classic BSW.
  • Experience creating software architectures and defining interfaces for autonomous system middleware.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java, etc.)
  • Experience in automotive engineering delivery and software architectures.

Desired skills

  • Experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Experience in model-based software development.
  • Experience in giving technical guidance to a team of technical software experts and architects.
  • High quality awareness, ASPICE, CMM
