Isar Aerospace is hiring an Avionics Hardware Engineer (Integrated System Testing) to join the Avionics, Guidance, Navigation & Control team in Ottobrunn. You will build and own the integrated hardware system testrig for the Spectrum launch vehicle, lead and execute integrated system test campaigns, fault injection tests and in-house EMI tests, drive failure reproduction and analysis on the rig, and support acceptance campaigns for engines, fluids and structures while planning early integration for the next iteration. They seek a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Aerospace engineering, 3+ years in electrical system testing, strong failure analysis, troubleshooting PCBAs, EMI testing, and fluent English; bonus for power electronics and Li-Ion batteries. Mission Brief
You will be an integral part of the Avionics, Guidance, Navigation & Control (AGNC) department, specifically the Avionics Hardware team, responsible for the Hardware Design of the Avionics at Isar Aerospace. You will build and own the Integrated Hardware System testrig of our Launch Vehicle Spectrum and support subsystem test campaigns of the other departments. Through your work, you will ensure the robust operation of Spectrum’s electrical system during Ground Operations and Flight.
