Embark Student Corp is seeking a bilingual professional to join its Education Savings Center as a Bilingual Business Development Coordinator - French (Telemarketer). The position is a fixed-term contract and fully remote across Canada, with applications closing on 17 October 2026. The role reports to the Director, Sales.

The core aim is to book quality firm appointments for the internal Sales team by making outbound calls in both English and French, using a company script, and qualifying prospects to ensure they’re a good fit for Embark’s services.

This role suits someone who stays motivated after rejection, communicates clearly in both languages, and can work independently while keeping accurate records in the CRM.

Outreach in two languages

Each day centers on reaching out to existing and potential Embark clients, delivering the message from the script, and tailoring the approach to match client needs in English and French.

When a lead shows interest, the focus shifts to scheduling a firm appointment with the sales team, confirming timing, and sharing any details the client needs about Embark and the upcoming meeting. All interactions and appointments are logged in the CRM to keep a precise record and help the team track progress toward targets.

The essentials you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated success in a telemarketing role or in a closely related sales or customer-service position
  • Clear, persuasive communication in both spoken and written form
  • Ability to stay composed under pressure and consistently meet appointment-booking targets
  • Experience using CRM platforms and other sales tools to track activity
  • Strong interpersonal skills that help you connect with clients
  • High energy, confidence and resilience
  • Empathetic listener who respects diverse perspectives
  • A lifelong learner who performs well and pushes for improvement
  • Customer-focused mindset that recognises clients as key stakeholders
  • Fluency in French and English

Extras that help you stand out

  • Experience in education savings or related student financial services
  • Additional language abilities beyond English and French
  • Extra familiarity with CRM tools or sales analytics

Pay, schedule and practicalities

Compensation is CA$21.00 to CA$23.00 per hour. The role is remote from Canada and operates as a fixed-term contract, with reporting to the Director, Sales within Embark’s Education Savings Center.

The posting notes a specific application deadline of 17 October 2026, and there is one vacancy currently being filled. This opportunity requires comfort with outbound calling and bilingual communication to connect with potential clients and book qualified appointments for the sales team.

Tips for applicants

Lead your resume with evidence of your bilingual outbound experience and your track record in turning conversations into booked appointments, including any quantitative results you can share.

Show how you prove the must-have skills by citing concrete examples: a time you used a CRM to log client interactions, how you handled objections, and how you met or exceeded appointment targets.

In interviews, be ready to discuss how you manage rejection and stay motivated, plus how you work independently while keeping records accurate and aligned with the company script.

Ask a targeted question about the role, such as how many firm appointments the team aims to book daily or weekly and what criteria define a “quality firm appointment.”
