We are seeking a casual Rohingya speaking Bilingual Support Officer available in the mornings to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality bilingual assistance to support learners from diverse linguistic backgrounds to engage effectively in their language, literacy, and numeracy training. You will work closely with Trainers to facilitate communication, clarify learning content, and support students in achieving their educational, vocational, and personal goals.
This hands-on role involves supporting classroom delivery, assisting with learner understanding, and contributing to accurate documentation in line with government contract requirements and national standards. The role requires the successful candidate to work across any of the 4 AMEP NSF sites located in Sydney, NSW, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet operational needs.
Essential:
• Bilingual skills
• Demonstrated face-to-face, phone and email customer service experience
• Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Good administrative skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to remain focused and manage priorities in the face of competing demands
• Demonstrated awareness of a range of cultural perspectives and sensitive approaches relevant to our clients
• Experience in working as part of a team
Desirable:
• Knowledge of programs and contracts
• Previous experience in the education industry
