UAE National Only Emirates NBD is hiring a full-time onsite Business Banking Officer in Dubai to serve walk-in SME needs at branches, open and service accounts, and generate cross-sell leads while supporting projects and gathering feedback. Core duties include opening accounts sourced by ROs or walk-ins, ensuring document accuracy and SLA-driven turnaround, and day-to-day SME servicing such as SMS and online banking, authorized caller changes, and signature updates plus withdrawals, with a focus on cross-selling. The objective is to have well-trained dedicated resources in select branches at key Business Banking target markets across UAE, to handle the walk-in customer’s requirements. This would help in better servicing the SME customers once we acquire them. Similarly, it will also help us acquire new to bank SME customers from the branch walk-in
In addition, these resources can help us centrally drive any crucial customer and/or process related projects. Further, their distributed presence will also help us in capturing the market feedback better and we do not have to rely on sales frontline alone for this. Although the core role will be account opening and account servicing, having a dedicated resource at the branch also will help us in generating references or leads for cross-sell.
 

  • Open accounts sourced by ROs or walk-in customers & coordinate with various departments for approvals

  • Ensure correctness and completion of the documents collected and the data captured for each application

  • Ensure the account opening activity is completed as per the set SLA to maintain out TAT commitment

  • Providing day-to-day account servicing to SME customers walking in to the branch, including requests for SMS banking, online banking - SmartBUSINESS/ BankNet, authorized caller, change of signature, withdrawal/addition of customer, etc.

  • Implementing any customer or process related projects driven by the central team at the branch level

  • Identify potential leads for cross-selling / up-selling of products and servicing during the day-to-day interactions with the customers
