Practical tips to strengthen your application
Lead with your energy storage sales experience and European exposure on your resume. Your top section should immediately show that you’ve worked in the right domain and, ideally, in markets similar to Benelux or other parts of Europe.
Back up your claims with concrete examples of end-to-end sales successes: prospecting, needs analysis, solution presentations, and contract closures, plus metrics that show revenue impact and long-term partnerships you’ve built with industrial clients.
Be ready to discuss how you would shape market strategies, collaborate with Product and Technical teams, and navigate European regulatory considerations. Have a few short case ideas ready that demonstrate your approach to combining technology advantages with customer value.
Ask a focused question about the team’s current approach in Europe, such as how they balance product support with partner growth in the Benelux region, or what the company views as the primary growth opportunities across Europe over the next year.
