Mō te tūranga | About the Role
This role partners closely with Mortgage Advisers to grow Westpac’s presence in the third‑party channel, using deep lending expertise and strong commercial insight to help Advisers succeed and drive sustainable revenue growth. You’ll lead relationship management, education, and service delivery that strengthens Adviser capability, enhances their experience, and positions Westpac as their lender of choice.
 

You’ll champion high‑quality service, issue resolution, and policy confidence, ensuring Advisers receive clear guidance, proactive support, and a seamless submission‑to‑settlement journey. By identifying growth opportunities, lifting portfolio performance, and advocating for Advisers internally, you’ll play a key role in expanding both their businesses and Westpac’s market share.

You’ll bring the relationship leadership, lending expertise, and commercial mindset needed to help Mortgage Advisers grow their businesses while strengthening Westpac’s position in the third‑party channel. Your ability to influence, educate, and deliver an exceptional Adviser experience will be key to driving sustainable growth and high‑quality outcomes.
 

  • Strong relationship‑building capability with the confidence to influence and engage diverse Adviser businesses
  • Deep understanding of lending processes, systems, and credit policy, with the ability to provide clear, practical guidance
  • Proven experience in business development or relationship management within banking, lending, or financial services
  • Skilled presenter able to deliver training, run webinars, and communicate complex information simply
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Commercially minded, with a track record of identifying growth opportunities and improving partner performance
