Shapeways is seeking a Business Development Representative EU to join their Eindhoven team, full-time onsite, to source land and grow new accounts for their additive manufacturing services. You will build and nurture a pipeline, execute action plans to win new business and expand existing accounts, and collaborate with Project Managers, Application Engineers and Operations to ensure 100 percent customer satisfaction while staying ahead of industry trends. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in a B2B, customer-facing role, can articulate technical manufacturing concepts, multitask in a fast paced environment, and demonstrates resilience and strong objection handling. English plus another European language is preferred. To apply highlight measurable pipeline wins, early relationship-building and relevant sector knowledge.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Consistently develop and nurture a pipeline of new business
• Implement action plans to land & expand existing accounts
• Identify new business opportunities by profiling prospective companies
• Achieve outbound calls, connects, pipeline, and close rate expectations
• Work closely together with our Project Managers, Application Engineers and Operations team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
• Be attuned to the industry landscape and market trends

Who You Are

• You live for the hunt for finding new customers and drive home their first order
• You love cultivating early relationships with these customers to bring them to the next level
• 3-5 years of experience in a customer facing role in a b2b environment
• Ability to understand and communicate the technical aspects of Shapeways’s manufacturing services
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Able to work in a fast paced, goal orientated environment
• Resilient & strong objection handling skills 
• Independent, dependable, resourceful and self-motivated
• Fluent English plus any other European language
• Posses a positive, can-do, team-player mentality
