Foodstuffs South Island is hiring a Butchery 2IC at Waimate New World for a full time onsite role. You will support the Manager, plan and run day to day Butchery operations and help drive the team forward. This busy department offers growth and the chance to hone butchery skills with strong customer service. Key duties include hitting department targets, production planning, quality and cleanliness, maintaining merchandising standards, upholding food safety, leading the team, stock ordering and waste control. A qualified butcher is preferred but not essential; supermarket experience helps. An exciting opportunity has become available within our supermarket. We are calling for a person who is passionate about Butchery & Customers, who can plan, organise, and control the day-to-day operations of the Butchery Department in the Manager’s absence. You will need to support the Manager on a day-to-day basis, and help drive the team forward.
