BAE Systems is hiring a Capability, Capacity & Resilience Leader in Barrow-in-Furness, full-time onsite, circa £46k to drive Supply Chain transformation through the new BCCR team. You’ll coordinate SC activities, lead procurement and contract management for major subcontract and transactional work, brief stakeholders across functions, deputising for the SC Senior Manager when needed. You’ll cultivate strategic supplier relationships, advance governance, and support a doubling of output. Requirements include proven supply chain and commercial project experience; strong business case and financial analysis; excellent stakeholder management; aerospace, defence or MOD exposure is valued; CIPS or PMDY desirable. The BCCR Supply Chain Team:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-impact team working on major transformation across our business, where you will support the supply chain investment change programmes. This team is at the forefront of shifting our production rhythm with a goal of doubling our output rate, a strategic change will require significant transformation. The work will focus on building strong supplier relationships, driving critical supplier change programme plans, thinking differently, building resilience, and expanding our capabilities to meet future demand. These roles will lead truly integrated cross functional teams; you will be exposed to business challenges that through teamwork you will be given the opportunity to make a significant difference. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
