Virtusa seeks a Cards Issuing Architect to lead end to end card issuance programs in Dubai, spanning credit, debit and prepaid cards, lifecycle management, onboarding and risk controls within digital banking and fintech environments. The right candidate will bring 8-10 years of experience in solution and enterprise architecture, hands on with card platforms such as TSYS PRIME or FIS, deep knowledge of Visa Mastercard UnionPay BIN management EMV and tokenization, plus API design and cloud based microservices. TOGAF or enterprise architecture certification is preferred, along with governance, stakeholder and vendor management and strong communication. Domain Expertise
● Strong knowledge of Cards Issuing (Credit, Debit, Prepaid).
● Deep understanding of the card lifecycle issuance, activation, renewal,
replacement.
● Experience with digital banking, fintech, customer onboarding, KYC/AML, and
risk management.
● Understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
Technical Skills
● Hands-on experience with card platforms such as TSYS PRIME, FIS, First Data,
or equivalent issuing platforms.
● Strong knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, BIN management, EMV, and
tokenization.
● Expertise in API design and integration (REST APIs, Open APIs).
