Caregiver at Bupa Parklands in Christchurch is a permanent part time role, averaging about 30 hours per week, with a 4 days on 2 days off rotating roster and a mix of AM, PM and night shifts. You’ll support residents with mobility, keep care documentation up to date, encourage social activity, and help create a warm, safe environment across rest home, hospital and dementia care. Key requirements include a Level 0 to 4 Caregiving qualification with current medication competency, proven aged care experience, strong communication and teamwork, and legal entitlement to work in New Zealand. Bupa Parklands Care Home is located on Papanui Road in Strowan, Christchurch, close to the communities of Papanui, Merivale, and St Albans. The home offers rest home, hospital, and specialist dementia (psychogeriatric) care.
