  • Shift Time: 8:30am to 2:30pm

The purpose of this job  

Located in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, Bupa Te Puke Care Home is set amongst award-winning gardens and park-like grounds.Care options include Rest Home Care and Hospital Care. 

As a Cleaner you will be part of the Housekeeping team to: 

  • Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule.
  • Managing cleaning supplies.
  • Meeting of daily schedule to ensure that residents’ rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting any faults or issues to the Household supervisor. 
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage.
  • Treat residents with respect and dignity.

What you’ll need to make it possible 

  • Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable.
  • Be a proactive team player who can work independently and pitch in where needed
  • Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents
  • Available to work rotating rostered shifts, including weekends
  • Reliable transport and travel arrangements
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
