Caregiver
BupaBupa Tararu Care Home in Thames is seeking a dedicated Caregiver for a permanent, full-time, onsite role. In this role you’ll support residents’ mobility as outlined in their individual care plans, monitoring progress and adjusting support as needed to preserve independence and safety.
You’ll also take responsibility for accurate and timely care documentation, and you’ll help create a welcoming environment where residents, visitors and teammates feel respected and cared for.
Beyond direct care, you’ll encourage residents to engage in social activities and community life, helping them stay connected and participate in meaningful experiences while you support their comfort and well-being.

- Hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification, with current medication competency and a solid understanding of safe medication practices
- Bring proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment
- Exhibit genuine passion for supporting the elderly

- Be computer literate across MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Hold legal entitlement to work in New Zealand

Pay, benefits and practical details
The posting confirms a permanent full-time arrangement with an average of 32 hours per week and a six-week roster cycle, with shifts split between 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm, and a roster pattern that includes all days from Monday to Sunday.
