Administrative Support
BupaBupa is hiring an Administrative Support for its Erin Park Care Home, located in a quiet residential part of Manurewa, South Auckland. This onsite, permanent part-time role runs eight hours per week on a weekend roster, with shifts from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. If you like the idea of keeping a busy care home running smoothly, this could be a good fit. You’ll be the friendly face at the front desk, help with everyday admin and secretarial tasks, and support residents, visitors and staff with a calm, respectful approach.
Erin Park Care Home sits among award-winning gardens and is one of Bupa’s larger homes in the region. The company is a global healthcare leader that aims to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives, and this team-focused role offers a chance to contribute to that mission in a tangible, local way.
A day at the front desk
The Administration Support role blends reception duties with essential admin tasks. You’ll provide administrative and secretarial support to the home, welcome residents, visitors and staff, and keep filing and database records accurate. Day-to-day operations rely on your ability to process routine documentation and generate timely reports, while you help manage the flow of accounts payable invoices, including coding and processing them so financial records stay organised.

- Compassionate, empathetic, with a real interest in supporting the elderly
- Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
Nice-to-haves to stand out

Advice for applicants
Lead with your administration and front-desk experience, and put your aged care exposure right up front on your resume so the panel sees you match the role from the start.
Show how you prove the must-have skills by pointing to concrete examples: a time you kept client notes and filing precise, a project where you met a tight deadline, or a situation where you delivered friendly, respectful service to an older resident or visitor.
Be ready to talk through your approach to front-d desk duties, including how you handle confidential information, how you juggle multiple tasks, and how you keep records up-to-date while supporting a collaborative care-team environment.
Ask a targeted question about the admin side of the home, such as which resident-record systems are used and how the admin team collaborates with care staff to ensure every shift runs smoothly.
