The tasks in procurement are as diverse as they are essential to success.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Development and execution of the global category strategy in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to drive savings, cash targets, and sustainable value creation
  • Management and optimization of supplier panels, including contract negotiations, to secure competitive commercial conditions and long-term partnerships
  • Ensuring supply security and mitigating risks by monitoring supplier performance and financial health, as well as proactively managing critical situations (e.g., insolvencies)
  • Steering of sourcing activities and identification of cost-saving opportunities through market analysis, strategic sourcing approaches, and global bundling/auctioning
  • Driving compliance, sustainability, and performance transparency, including adherence to corporate standards, data integrity, and continuous performance tracking

 

This is what you bring to us:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management, ideally within the automotive or related industries (e.g., glazing)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate confidently across all organizational levels
  • Strategic and analytical mindset paired with business acumen, enabling data-driven decision-making and cross-functional thinking
  • Structured, reliable, and results-oriented working style, combined with strong English language skills (additional languages are a plus)
