Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

As our Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across our Christchurch portfolio. Working closely with the FM Contracts Manager, workforce planning teams, subcontractors and clients, you'll help ensure maintenance activities are planned, coordinated and completed efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
• Coordinating reactive and planned maintenance work orders
• Supporting scheduling activities for tradespeople and subcontractors
• Acting as a key liaison between the FM Team, Workforce Planning and clients
• Managing work order flow, reporting and CMMS administration
• Coordinating building inspections and tracking follow-up actions
• Supporting health, safety and compliance documentation, audits and reporting
• Coordinating subcontractor records, permits, purchase orders and performance tracking
• Assisting with month-end processes, PPM tracking and work-in-progress management
• Maintaining accurate records and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement


What You’ll Bring to the Table | Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Ko:
• 2+ years' experience in administration, coordination, scheduling or operational support
• Experience using job management, scheduling, work order or similar business systems
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confidence communicating with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Strong computer literacy and reporting capability
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in facilities management, property services, maintenance, construction or trades environments will be highly regarded
• Experience with CMMS, Permit to Work systems, SafetyNet, Noggin or similar platforms is advantageous
