MUFG Pension & Market Services is seeking a Change Management Analyst in Melbourne for a 12 month fixed term, onsite, to support the Change Manager in delivering initiatives that maximise adoption, minimise resistance and realise benefits across processes, systems and technology. You’ll apply structured change methodologies, build stakeholder relationships, conduct impact assessments, manage risks and resistance, and produce deliverables across communications, sponsor roadmap, coaching, training and resistance plans while tracking user readiness and benefits. About the role

As a Change Management Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Change Manager to ensure change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. You’ll focus on the people side of change across business processes, systems and technology—creating and implementing change strategies and plans that maximise adoption, minimise resistance, and drive proficiency and benefit realisation.

Location: Melbourne based | 12 months Fixed term contract

What You'll do 

You will apply a structured methodology to plan and deliver change activities and artefacts, including:

  • Delivering change management documentation and artefacts on time, within budget, and to quality standards, aligned to internal governance requirements. 
  • Establishing strong stakeholder relationships and building business knowledge to proactively engage and influence. 
  • Ensuring the Change Model is implemented and used across applicable initiatives. 
  • Conducting change impact assessments; identifying risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies and managing them with stakeholders.
  • Identifying and managing anticipated resistance; developing mitigation tactics and supporting leaders/managers through transitions. 
  • Creating actionable deliverables across the five change levers: communications, sponsor roadmap, coaching, training, and resistance management plans. 
  • Support the creation and delivery of communications, workshops, and training materials.
  • Evaluating and ensuring user readiness; defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress. 
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards
  • Contributing to Post Implementation Reviews and tracking value/benefits of change; supporting continuous improvement and best practice uplift.
     
What You'll bring
  • Min 2 yrs experience with project management approaches, tools and phases across the project lifecycle and change management in large financial services organisation.  
  • Strong understanding of how people experience change and what drives adoption. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to varied audiences. 
  • Proven stakeholder management capability and the ability to build trusted working relationships across organisational boundaries. 
  • Influencing skills and confidence coaching leaders and managers toward a shared goal. 
  • Resilience, adaptability, and comfort working in ambiguity; organised planning mindset and strong problem-solving/root cause skills. 
  • A collaborative, values-led approach and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
