Foodstuffs South Island is seeking a full-time Checkout Team Member for Trents in Christchurch, onsite. You’ll deliver excellent customer service and efficient transaction processing to create a positive shopping experience, with a Monday to Friday shift 08:30 to 17:00 totaling 40 hours. Key points: checkout or retail experience is helpful but not required, you must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to lift up to 20 kg, have solid numeracy and literacy, good problem solving, and be confident using TRINCA and SAP. About the role: Checkout Team Member

As a Checkout Team Member, you will be assisting our Customers with excellent customer service and efficient processing of transactions creating a positive customer experience.


Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 = 40hrs/week

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Checkouts / Retail / Customer Service experience is desirable
  • Comfortable working in a face paced environment
  • Fit and able to lift up to 20KG repetitively
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Confident using technology and software systems – TRINCA & SAP
