Foodstuffs South Island is looking for a Talent Attraction Specialist who will partner with leaders to attract, assess and hire great talent, using talent insights and multichannel sourcing to improve hiring outcomes and the candidate experience. You’ll own end to end processes, shape attraction and sourcing strategies, and support employer branding initiatives. As a Talent Attraction Specialist, you'll partner with leaders across our cooperative to attract, assess and hire great talent. You'll use talent insights, sourcing expertise and provide practical advice to enable better hiring decisions, while contributing to talent initiatives, hiring capability and continuous improvement across our attraction team. 

 

Key Accountabilities     

 

  • Manage the end-to-end attraction and hiring process across your portfolio 
  • Partner with leaders to develop attraction and sourcing strategies 
  • Source and engage talent through a range of channels and networks 
  • Coach and support leaders through attraction, assessment and selection 
  • Support employer brand and talent attraction initiatives 

About you:

 

You’ll currently be in a recruitment or talent focused role in-house or with an agency. You'll be confident sourcing talent, have a knack at improving how things are done and enjoy helping leaders build confidence in hiring great people. Ideally, you’ll also bring: 

 

  • Strong sourcing capability and the ability to engage talent through multiple channels  
  • Experience using a range of assessment and selection approaches  
  • Strong coaching, communication and relationship-building skills  
  • The ability to turn recruitment data and market insights into practical recommendations  
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine interest in improving hiring experiences
