ServiceNow, the AI-driven platform known for turning busywork into progress, is expanding its leadership bench in the APAC region. The company’s platform acts as an AI control tower for business reinvention, bringing together any AI, any data, and any workflow, with 85% of the Fortune 500® relying on it to work smarter, faster, and better. ServiceNow continues to push an AI-native culture where technology and talent move forward together.

The open role is Chief Transformation Officer for Governance, Risk & Cybersecurity, APAC, based in Sydney with a hybrid work setup. The company also welcomes strong candidates who are based in Singapore, reflecting a flexible approach to regional talent. This is a role for someone who enjoys high-level strategy, close collaboration with executives, and driving security and governance programs that span large, complex organizations.

In this executive position you’ll engage with CROs, CISOs, CEOs, and board members at the largest customers to translate governance, risk, and cybersecurity expertise into measurable outcomes on the NOW platform. You’ll work alongside internal leaders and the Sales and Strategy teams to shape strategic GTM plans and craft thought leadership around risk, governance, and security capabilities.

The day-to-day rhythm in executive governance

Expect to help accelerate deals by partnering with Fortune 500 CROs and CISOs, framing ServiceNow’s AI Control Tower, Veza for identity access management, and Armis for IT/IoT/OT security as transformational assets for AI governance and resilience. You’ll co-create enterprise governance transformation strategies with client leaders, positioning ServiceNow as the orchestration layer for risk, security, and compliance at scale.

You’ll also drive credible industry leadership through governance, risk and cybersecurity frameworks that support large clients as they accelerate digital risk and security programs, especially around AI governance, identity governance, and the integration of threat intelligence. Part of the role involves building and fueling prospect pipelines by hosting CXO risk and security roundtables, delivering industry keynotes on governance and AI safety, and guiding executive-level field marketing activities focused on board and C-suite conversations about risk.

Additionally, you’ll provide critical feedback to Engineering, Security, and Field Marketing on the product roadmap and competitive positioning, ensuring that risk and governance capabilities stay aligned with what enterprise clients demand in the CISO and GRC segments.

What you bring to the table

  • Former CISO, CRO, or an equivalent senior leadership role in cybersecurity or governance, with a track record at the C-suite or VP level.
  • 15+ years in senior leadership positions steering large-scale cybersecurity, risk management, governance, or technology transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Deep know-how of enterprise cybersecurity frameworks, risk governance, compliance, and AI governance, including hands-on familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and related standards.
  • Proven grasp of emerging AI governance challenges, including identity governance, threat intelligence, AI risk controls, and zero-trust architecture.
  • Substantial experience engaging external CROs, CISOs, Chief Compliance Officers, and board-level risk committees as a trusted transformation partner.
  • Experience with or strong knowledge of SaaS/PaaS platforms for risk, security, governance, or AI governance; familiarity with ServiceNow products such as AI Control Tower, Veza, Armis, and GRC/IAM capabilities is a plus.
  • Executive-level presentation skills to deliver to boards, risk committees, and large audiences, including briefings and small roundtables with senior risk stakeholders.
  • A proven ability to lead and collaborate across Engineering, Security, government/regulatory bodies, partners, and internal teams while maintaining credibility with risk-averse enterprise audiences.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a metric-driven environment, with a track record of delivering credible, sustainable outcomes.
  • Ideal candidates may come from industry analysis, CRO advisory, or CISO advisory backgrounds with governance, risk, and cybersecurity transformation expertise.
  • Executive consulting or advisory experience supporting C-suite and board-level clients on cybersecurity strategy and risk transformation is preferred.
  • Strong local APAC network and credibility within the regional CRO/CISO community, with the ability to leverage connections to drive customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated credibility in positioning AI governance and AI security as enterprise-critical priorities.
  • Location is flexible and open to applicants based in Singapore.

Nice-to-haves include prior experience shaping governance and risk programs for large-scale digital transformations and a track record of influencing enterprise-wide security strategy through consultative engagements with board-level audiences.

Tips to stand out in this search

Lead your resume with your governance and transformation leadership at the executive level, and highlight at least 15 years of senior leadership in cybersecurity, risk, or governance. Make sure to call out experiences that involved CROs, CISOs, and board-level interactions so the reader can see you’ve done the CXO-level work this role requires.

Show concrete proof of your must-have capabilities by weaving in examples of enterprise frameworks you’ve implemented, AI governance initiatives you’ve led, and your familiarity with identity governance, threat intelligence, and zero-trust architectures. If you’ve worked with or on platforms like Veza or Armis, mention specific outcomes and how you influenced risk posture at scale.

Prepare interview stories that demonstrate your ability to shape strategy and partner with engineering, security, and marketing teams. Be ready to discuss your approach to executive roundtables, board risk conversations, and field marketing activities that derive from high-stakes governance and risk discourse.

Ask a smart question that connects to the role’s impact on the product roadmap and regional growth, such as how the AI Control Tower roadmap aligns with APAC governance priorities, or how field-marketing and executive engagement activities scale with large enterprise customers in the region.
