Tips for applicants who want this role
Lead your resume with examples of internal or employee communications work and content publishing projects, especially where you’ve published on intranets or SharePoint Online and reached large audiences.
When you describe your experience, cite specific opportunities where you turned dense or technical information into clear, actionable content, and note how you collaborated with subject matter experts to shape the message.
Be ready to discuss how you structure information for easy discovery and how you’ve helped improve governance around content quality and the overall digital experience for staff.
Think of a question to ask about the role’s impact on AFCA’s intranet and Knowledge Centre, for example: what are the current priorities for staff knowledge channels, and how does this role measure success in improving information accessibility?
