We have an exciting opportunity to lead our centrally located care home, CHT St Johns in Epsom. At CHT St Johns you will lead a committed team and help ensure residents receive high-quality care in an environment where they feel safe, supported and at home.
This is a prime location with easy access to the motorways, close to Cornwall Park, retails areas, this location would suit many different commuter options.
About the role
As Care Home Manager, you’ll provide operational, clinical and people leadership to ensure residents receive excellent care in our hospital care and dementia care units.
You will:
• Lead the care home in alignment with CHT’s values and strategic goals
• Manage financial performance, workforce planning and resource allocation
• Oversee quality, compliance and health and safety requirements
• Build strong relationships with residents, families/whānau, employees and the local community
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, engagement and service excellence
What you will bring
We’re looking for a confident, people-focused leader who can combine clinical expertise with strong operational capability.
You will have:
• A current NZ Registered Nurse practising certificate
• Experience leading teams in aged care, health or a related sector
• Strong operational capability, including budgeting and quality management
• Confidence managing clinical risk, compliance and change
• A warm, collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills
