Join an established team of civil engineers, where you will have the opportunity to develop your Civil Engineer career working on a broad range of civil infrastructure projects with diverse scope, size, technical engineering requirements, and with different client types.
You will be supporting the delivery of work packages, contributing to stormwater, earthworks and associated linear civil infrastructure projects for clients based locally from AECOM’s Melbourne office, while being part of a team operating throughout Australia across infrastructure, defence, land development, local municipal councils and energy sectors.
You will have support of technical and client subject matter experts both in the local Melbourne office, as well as through being part of the wider AECOM business, enabling you to build strong technical fundamentals under the guidance of senior engineers. As such, you will be able to develop your career learning in a supportive environment, with scope to work on and lead larger and more complex project work packages.
Key role responsibilities include:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience as a Civil Engineer working on civil, site and infrastructure design (this role won’t suit graduate level applicants). You will be motivated to build your Civil Engineering career with the desire to work across a variety of projects with varying scale and client requirements as you consider what engineering disciplines you wish to focus on longer term.
You will be known for your ability to work collaboratively in teams, be delivery focused, and be able to problem-solve. Being open to working in a tight knit team in the Adelaide AECOM office including chipping in to help as required, will be important. The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, however if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
