Hall's is seeking a reliable Class 5 driver at its Longburn depot to deliver chilled and frozen freight across the Manawatu region with hand unloads, temperature checks, accurate paperwork and daily vehicle checks, upholding Hall's high service standards. You need a full clean Class 5 license with at least three years NZ driving experience, refrigerated transport know-how, solid knowledge of the Manawatu Wellington and New Plymouth regions, and familiarity with Eroad and TruckMate, plus a Sunday to Thursday roster starting around 4pm for 10 to 12 hour shifts. Job Description

At Hall's, we are looking for a reliable and flexible Class 5 Driver to join the team at our Longburn Depot, who can be the friendly face of our business and deliver chilled or frozen freight along with outstanding service for our customers and their customers.

In this role you will see yourself delivering chilled & frozen food to businesses within the wider Manawatu region, this will include manual lifting and hand unloads, checking temperature settings, ensuring accuracy of documentation and completing daily vehicle checks.

• Based in Longburn doing various roles (deliveries and pick-ups in various locations in the lower Nth island, yard duties etc.)
• Manual lifting and hand unloads

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you'll need:

• A full & clean Class 5 license, with a minimum of 3 years NZ Class 5 driving experience 
• Previous experience working within refrigerated transport
• Have a good geographical knowledge of the Manawatu, Wellington & New Plymouth regions
• Have a working knowledge of Eroad & TruckMate
• To be committed to working Sunday through to Thursday, starting from 4pm for an expected 10-12 hour shift.

We are after someone who is self-motivated with a positive attitude and has the level of physical fitness required for this kind of role.
