Advice for applicants
Your resume should foreground any cleaning experience in care homes or similar environments, since that background is preferred for this position.
When you describe your background, point to times you worked as part of a team and also when you took initiative to complete tasks independently. This role values someone who can both collaborate and self‑manage, especially around cleaning schedules and supply management.
Be ready to talk about how you follow Health & Safety policies and safe chemical storage practices, and how you’ve reported faults or issues to a supervisor in the past.
Ask a precise question about the roster and scheduling, for example how the six‑week pattern operates in practice and how the housekeeping team defines success day to day.
