TE Connectivity is seeking a CNC Machinist III for their Mansfield, Ohio facility on a day shift with overtime as needed, to perform machine setups, adjustments, and operations that meet rigorous quality standards. The role emphasizes milling and drilling, reading blueprints and operation sheets, applying SPC, editing basic CNC programs with M and G codes, and using precision measuring tools to verify parts. Requirements include at least 3 years of related CNC or machine operation experience, a HS diploma or GED, strong teamwork and training skills, and ITAR/EAR eligibility. · Perform all duties required of a Machine Set‑Up Operator.
· Apply thorough knowledge of milling and drilling practices, including appropriate machine feeds and speeds for metals and various materials.
· Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and technical documents to determine machining tolerances and requirements.
· Use a wide range of measuring and inspection instruments (micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, feeler gauges, etc.) to verify part compliance.
· Apply SPC (Statistical Process Control) as required.
· Set up machines, make tool adjustments, and ensure correct equipment configuration for all assigned operations.
· Edit basic CNC programs, including “M” and “G” codes.
· Maintain proper storage and organization of tooling.
· Monitor operations for dull tools, malfunctions, or quality issues and take corrective action as needed.
· Complete required training for new machining equipment.
· Work effectively in a team environment, sharing workload, participating in team problem‑solving, and promoting shared accountability.
· Train or support training of other employees as needed.
Shift & Schedule
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (regular schedule)
Overtime: As required; overtime hours are typically 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
This position requires access to information that is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent residents, persons granted asylee status in the U.S., or persons admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
Candidates must have the following personal tools:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, including experience in minor machine operation, miscellaneous machine operation, and CNC machine operation.Ability to read blueprints, follow instructions, and use precision measuring devices.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $48,800– $73,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
