Three tips to win a Coles merchandiser interview
Lead with any merchandising or retail experience you have, including concrete examples of work with planograms, relays, POS setups, pricing, and ticketing, even if it came from side projects or volunteer roles.
Back up your claims with real examples that show you stay organised and can prioritise tasks under pressure, and be ready to mention your ability to lift 15kg as part of daily duties.
Prepare to explain how you manage time on a busy shift and what you’ve done to keep shelves looking right during resets, plus any notes about collaborating with store teams.
Ask about the training pathway and what a successful first 60 days looks like, and inquire how the Coles CRT team collaborates with store teams to execute merchandising plans.
