COLAS Australia is hiring two Commercial Contract Managers to lead the commercial and contractual delivery of major road and civil projects, one role based in Sydney or Brisbane and the other in Perth, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel. You will own contract governance, risk allocation and entitlement protection across the project lifecycle, collaborating with project, finance, legal and procurement teams to maximise value, track financial performance, manage payments, variations and contractual notices, and prepare claims for delays or client-caused disruptions. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction with at least 5 in contract management, qualifications in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying or law, strong SOPA knowledge, cost-control and MS Project skills, plus excellent negotiation and stakeholder abilities. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will play a critical role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of major projects, ensuring strong contract governance, appropriate risk allocation, and the protection and enforcement of the company’s contractual entitlements across the project lifecycle.
