Te Tūranga – About the role   
As the Commercial Finance & Pricing Manager, you’ll be the financial backbone of JR Meats—overseeing pricing, procurement, stock management, and financial reporting to support smart, profitable decision‑making.
You’ll work closely with sales, operations, and procurement, ensuring competitive pricing, accurate forecasting, and optimal inventory levels. This role also leads one direct report and collaborates cross‑functionally across the business. Key focus areas include:
- Lead the JR Meats finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Approve and monitor customer pricing, quotations, and price reviews.
- Analyse and validate product cost models to ensure profitable pricing decisions.
- Conduct weekly trading price reviews and share pricing updates with the sales team.
- Monitor product availability and pricing trends across the supply chain.
- Manage monthly procurement planning and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Oversee inventory levels, purchasing decisions, and stock optimisation strategies.
- Review monthly financials, weekly cash flow, and ANZ reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process.
- Provide people leadership to one direct report including performance, development, and adherence to JR Meats and FSNI policies.

- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, procurement, or commercial management.
- Experience in meat processing or manufacturing is advantageous.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and cost‑based data.
- Strong supplier relationship and negotiation experience.
- Solid understanding of inventory management and pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence and collaborate with multiple teams.
- High attention to detail, strong organisation skills, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Ability to shift between strategic and hands‑on operational work seamlessly.
