Must be a US citizen per contract specifications. Procore or Bluebeam experience is a plus, bilingual a plus. Pay Rate: $80,000 - $120,000

Randall Mechanical  is currently seeking qualified Commercial Sheetmetal Superintendents to work on large projects in Orlando and across Central Florida to the east coast .

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Ductwork Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial HVAC projects. This role is responsible for overseeing ductwork installation, managing crews, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of sheet metal systems, proven supervisory experience, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Essential Functions

  • Supervise and manage field installation of commercial ductwork systems on large-scale projects (hospitals, high-rises, data centers, industrial facilities, etc.)
  • Coordinate daily activities of sheet metal crews, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project schedules to plan work activities
  • Ensure installations meet code requirements, project specifications, and quality standards
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Operational Staff to maintain project flow
  • Monitor productivity and manpower requirements; adjust staffing as needed
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance on all job sites
  • Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and design discrepancies
  • Track progress and provide regular updates to project leadership
  • Assist with material procurement and inventory coordination
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards

Experience Required

  • 5–10+ years of experience in commercial HVAC ductwork installation
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, installation methods, and airflow systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Proven experience managing large crews on multi-million-dollar projects
  • Solid understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA standards
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements

This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time.  You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job , be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
