This is a permanent, part-time role (28 hour) with the following work schedule:
• Hours are spread across the week and include weekends.
• Flexibility is required as the library is open seven days a week
• You will also be required to work at other libraries in the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board area as needed

The ideal candidate will:
• Foster a collaborative, whānau-focused team environment
• Enjoy supporting and working with diverse communities
• Hold a recognised library qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Have a LIANZA registration (preferred)
• Bring 3+ years’ experience in libraries or a related field
• Have experience in engagement, outreach or partnership development
• Be confident delivering or supporting programmes, events or initiatives
• Have strong communication and customer service skills
• Build trusted relationships and mentor others
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support and mentor others
• Have proficiency in Te Reo Māori (advantageous)
• Commit to embedding te ao Māori in their mahi (work) and hold an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
