Auckland Conventions, Venues & Events (ACVE) manages New Zealand’s largest portfolio of event venues, including Aotea Centre, Auckland Town Hall, The Civic, Shed 10, The Cloud and Viaduct Events Centre. This is a career-defining role for a digitally savvy, commercially minded Marketing Manager ready to make their mark. You’ll lead and deliver integrated marketing activity that drives demand for Auckland Conventions, Venues & Events (ACVE), while elevating Auckland’s profile in the global business events market.

 

A key priority will be shaping and delivering a new refreshed ACVE website, alongside implementing and reviewing a best-practice content strategy and playbook to support sales, brand and audience engagement. 

 

Working closely with sales, partners and stakeholders, you’ll bring our venues and stories to life across channels, campaigns, and customer touchpoints.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver integrated marketing plans aligned to sales and revenue targets
  • Lead the development and launch of the new refreshed ACVE website
  • Implement and establish a content strategy and playbook across digital and campaign channels
  • Manage and optimise ACVE digital channels, including web, social, EDM and paid media
  • Develop high-quality, audience-led content for B2B and trade audiences
  • Deliver campaigns, activations, trade shows and events (domestic and international)
  • Partner with sales teams, agencies and industry stakeholders
  • Manage budgets, reporting and performance insights
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints

  • 4+ years’ marketing experience in a corporate or similar environment
  • Proven experience delivering website projects and content strategies
  • Strong digital marketing capability, including analytics and optimisation
  • Excellent copywriting and content development skills
  • Experience delivering integrated campaigns to deadlines and budgets
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to link marketing activity to outcomes
  • Highly organised, proactive and collaborative
  • Confident working with multiple stakeholders
