Construction Security Manager

Position Overview
Futron is seeking an experienced Construction Security Manager to ensure contractor compliance with site security requirements for an overseas construction project in Bern, Switzerland. The Construction Security Manager will oversee information and personnel security requirements, ensure compliance with applicable contract requirements, and provide required security reporting to corporate and government security personnel.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing information and personnel security at domestic or overseas sites and a working knowledge of the OBO Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure contractor compliance with all site security requirements contained within the contract.
- Manage information and personnel security requirements for the project.
- Ensure project personnel comply with established security policies, procedures, and contract requirements.
- Provide required security reporting to the corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO), DS/IS/IND, and OBO Site Security Manager.
- Monitor and address information and personnel security issues throughout the project.
- Coordinate security requirements with project management, employees, vendors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Apply the OBO Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities to project operations.
- Maintain accurate security documentation, records, and reports.
- Identify security concerns and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Provide guidance to project personnel regarding applicable security requirements.
- Support compliance with overseas construction security requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive and classified information.
- Communicate security requirements and concerns to corporate and project leadership as appropriate.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing information and personnel security issues at either domestic or overseas sites.
- Working knowledge of the application of the OBO Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities.
- Experience supporting overseas construction projects is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage security requirements and personnel in a complex project environment.
Security Clearance
- Top Secret clearance required.

Working Conditions
This is an onsite position in Bern, Switzerland. The position will primarily be performed in a business office environment and will require periods of sitting and standing while performing computer-related and filing activities.
The Construction Security Manager must be able to remain calm and professional in highly stressful situations, handle criticism constructively, maintain emotional control, and avoid aggressive behavior when dealing with difficult situations or vendors.
The position requires persistence in the face of obstacles and challenges and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining security and compliance requirements.
