The ideal candidate has 10 to 15 years in senior client or technology integrator roles, deep expertise across applications, infrastructure, cloud, cyber, data centre and end user solutions, and a proven ability to translate customer challenges into tailored IT architectures and proposals. You will run requirements and scoping workshops, draft architectural diagrams and service scopes, and build OEM and partner relationships while acting as a trusted advisor to the engineering team. Certifications such as CCIE CCDE CISSP AWS Azure GCP and enterprise consulting experience are highly valued. What will you be doing?
As Consulting Systems Engineer, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional technical support to our Australian clients, ensuring they receive tailored solutions that meet and exceed their requirements. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting WWT’s largest Enterprise customers across Australia and New Zealand.
Essential Functions:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
10-15 years of industry experience in client-side senior roles, or technology integrators, or manufacturers. Architectural and technical experience with applications, Infrastructure, Cyber, Cloud, and Networking, Data Center, and End User Experience solutions. Ideally strong Application development technology and Application Architecture history and understanding of current trends and migration strategies. Deep Skills and Knowledge as a Subject Matter Expert in 2 or more critical parts of infrastructure.
Industry Level Certifications including CCDE, CCIE, CISSP, CDP, MCSE AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. Experience in consulting with Fortune 500 IT leadership on deployment of technology solutions, ideally in a sales environment. Ideally working with clients in a digital transformation and operating model design and deployment. Architectural training and/or experience in common methodologies including TOGAF, UAM, etc.
Familiarity with Big Data, AI, automation, end user experience and service management technologies along with cloud technologies including containers, Kubernetes, cloud-native services, storage, networking, and commercial models at a high level.
Strong presentation skills and understanding of business impact of technology decisions. Motivated to win in selling situations by solving client issues. Passion for learning, with focus on constant expansion of technical knowledge.
