Davey Resource Group is seeking a full-time Consulting Utility Forester in Scranton, PA, onsite, to help utilities maintain safe rights-of-way and protect ecosystems. You’ll perform vegetation inspections, identify treatment needs, support Integrated Vegetation Management and environmental projects, and document field data with GIS and mobile tools while collaborating with planners and crews to safeguard reliability and safety. The right candidate loves the outdoors, can read GIS maps, communicates well, travels up to 25 percent, holds a valid driver’s license with a clean record, operates a 4x4, and has ISA Certified Arborist status or can obtain it within six months; a forestry or related degree and utility vegetation experience are preferred.
