The Y NSW is seeking a motivated Coordinator to lead an OSHC service on the NSW central coast in Wamberal, with involvement at Panania OSHC as part of a broader regional role. You’ll design safe, engaging programs aligned with My Time Our Place, supervise a growing team of Educators, and build trusted partnerships with families, schools and charity partners to turn the Y’s mission into local impact. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership, a deep commitment to child safety, strong written and verbal communication, and comfort using Teams, Outlook and MS Office. Key qualifications include CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025, NSW Working with Children Check, HLTAID012, Police Check; Diploma or Cert III in childcare preferred. Our Children's Services Team are passionate educators and leaders who create safe, engaging environments for young minds to learn, grow, and thrive. Across 40 NSW schools, our OSHC Educators and Coordinators deliver enriching before- and after-school care, packed with creativity, play, and learning. 

Every day, our team runs programs that include sport, creative arts, cooking, and more—working closely with children, families, and schools to support development in a healthy, inclusive environment.

About your new role  

 

  • You will design and deliver a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service following Y values 
  • You will oversee a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program following My Time Our Place Volume II principals
  • You will become a trusted leader in the community, working closely with Y NSW families, schools and charity partners to turn the Y’s global mission into local action 
  • You will manage a dynamic team of Educators, helping everyone's individual growth
  • You will be able to follow our development pathway to learn new skills and build your career

  • Ability to critically reflect to develop innovative learning every day
  • Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours
  • Ability to work in a team seamlessly.
     

Qualifications

 

  • Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 OR CHCPRT001 (Mandatory)
  • Cert III , Diploma or equivalent in childcare (Desired)
  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • HLTAID012 - Current First Aid and CPR (Mandatory)
  • Police Check (paid for by the Y)
