Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager – Wind Repair to accelerate our growth in the rapidly expanding wind turbine maintenance and repair sector. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities across independent service providers (ISPs), wind farm owners, OEM service organizations, and innovative repair technology companies.

As a key member of our Corporate Wind team, you will help position our company as the preferred partner for blade repair, structural reinforcement, leading edge protection (LEP), and other solutions for lifetime extension of wind turbines.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the wind turbine repair and maintenance market.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities and projects.
  • Drive market penetration in key growth segments including:
  • Establish relationships with: OEMs, Independent Service Providers (ISPs), Wind farm owners and operators, engineering and maintenance partners
  • Promote solution-selling rather than product-selling approaches.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and technical conferences.
  • Develop and execute market growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify future technology trends and customer challenges.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Marketing, and Technical Service teams to develop customer-centric solutions.
  • Initiate strategic projects and support their successful transition into the commercial execution phase.
  • Perform product trainings and demonstrations for internal stakeholders and end customers

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of field experience in the wind industry, e.g. blade manufacturing, blade repair, offshore services or composite materials
  • Practical experience in wind repair and use of repair products is preferred
  • First experience with performing product demonstrations or trainings is a plus
  • Ability to travel throughout Europe regularly and intercontinental (approx. 30%)
  • Business fluent English is a must, German and/or Danish a plus
  • Excellent communication & relationship skills
