Capitol District Supply, part of the N&S Supply family, is hiring a full-time Counter Associate in Schenectady to join its growing plumbing, heating and HVAC team. The role blends customer service with warehouse support, including taking counter and phone orders, upselling solutions, sharing pricing and availability, and pulling orders from the warehouse while assisting with receiving, picking and stocking. Responsibilities include: 

• Service customers at the counter and over the phone by taking orders and entering them into the system accurately.
• Recommend product solutions and upsells to customers. 
• Provide product, pricing and availability information to customers.
• Retrieve orders from warehouse quickly and accurately.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, picking orders and stocking inventory.

• Plumbing/HVAC experience preferred
• Excellent customer skills and phone skills
• Team player
• Able to follow written instructions and procedures
• Able to perform basic math
• Understand inventory, warehouse, and stocking procedures
• Knowledge of company products
• Basic computer skills
