Title:  Customer Development Executive

Location: Auckland

 

Role Summary : 

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and analytical support for the Foodstuffs Customer Development Team to ensure the business relationships run smoothly and efficiently.

The role is responsible for maintenance of Colgate Palmolive promotional systems including new products, forecasts and promotion entry and supports the assigned Customer Development Managers (CDMs), assisting them with the compiling of customer documentation, Territory Manager communications as well as internal communications. 

This role will work closely with Customer Development Managers, Territory Managers as well as cross-functionally with Retail Marketing and Customer Service & Logistics functions.

 

Responsibilities :

 System Management

  • Thorough analysis and implementation of new product forecasts, forecast reviews, transition changes, promotional strategy changes and full year submission across assigned accounts.
  • Checking of account confirmations and firming promotions to send to SAP
  • Daily corrections from price discrepancies as required
  • Weekly checking of actuals vs forecast and making adjustments as necessary
  • Updating promotional deals as required due to strategy changes and/or price list changes.

 

Account Support

  • Back-up point of contact when Key Account Manager is unavailable
  • Promo Advice compilation and sending to Territory Managers
  • Checking of credit claims and first level sign offSOX auditing of head office invoices
  • Promotional Grid and Ranging list maintenance
  • Creation of store specific reviews as required
  • Creation of new product templates for new launches for FSSIUMPC support.

 

Meetings/Presentations

  • Reviewing forecasts and presenting to Demand Review (monthly)
  • Pricing and Promotional Reviews at Sales WIP (weekly)
  • 13 week Sales review and presentation at New Products Meeting (monthly.

 

Required Qualifications :

  • Tertiary Degree required
  • Minimum 2 years business experience
  • FMCG industry experience would be beneficial.
