You must be eligible to work permanently in New Zealand, hold a Restricted NZ Driver Licence with reliable transport, and have relevant customer facing experience and a professional presentation. Working at Tauranga Airport, you will be part of a busy and fast-paced environment - one which demands a love of people, travel, and a high level of resilience. Every customer has a different story, personality, and background, so you will always be learning something new.
Our busy team provides positive and friendly service to ensure customers have an efficient and enjoyable travel experience. There will be times of high pressure and tight deadlines, so you will need to be adaptable and able to work calmly under pressure. Your responsibilities will vary - from checking in customers, assisting passengers with special requirements, dispatching flights, supporting during disruptions, and assisting with arrivals and departures.
Shift Roster
The part-time role involves working a minimum of 36 hours per fortnight, up to a maximum of 72 hours per fortnight. You are required to work rostered shifts which rotate and change, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Shifts can range from a 5:00am start to a 10:00pm finish, depending on business needs and the flight schedule.
